Who is The Golfers Bank*?

There’s that famous expression, that golf is “a good walk, spoiled.”  Well, banking tends to be “a good lunch break, commute home, or web surf spoiled.”  It’s about as enjoyable as walking off the green after a four-putt.  But we believe it doesn’t have to be that way.

The Golfers Bank* is a banking concept developed by golf fans, for golf fans.  By day we’re banking experts; by night and weekend we’re local golf course warriors.  We love to start a summer Saturday with 9 holes at 6:30 am, or duck out of work early and hit the golf course for a late afternoon round.  We’re not especially great golfers, but we love this elusive game, and we know you do too.

One of our pet peeves with banking is that it’s boring, and feels like a chore.  Each one of us has our own unique set of passions, interests and values, yet the current banking industry doesn’t give us a chance to enjoy any of those passions when we do our banking.  We think that’s a huge missed opportunity—so we decided to do something about it.
